Mam pytanie- dlaczego w pierwszym wersie jest sink, a nie sunk (przecież to czas przeszły)?
OdpowiedzUsuńZatonąć to 'sink', czas przeszły (past simple) - 'sank', a tzw. past participle (używany dla czasów 'perfect') to 'sunk'. W pierwszym ćwiczeniu mamy definicje. W definicjach często stosujemy bezokoliczniki : 'to go down towards the sea bottom' - to sink (iść w dół w kierunku dna morza - zatonąć). W tekście natomiast jest czas przeszły (past simple) 'Titanic was a British liner that sank (...) on 15 April 1912". Mamy konkretną datę, więc stosujemy czas past simple. 'Sank' jest tutaj poprawną formą :)Pozdrawiam.
