Hello! Today I have prepared a short listening exercise for you, based on a film I saw a few years ago. 'Fear and trembling' tells the story of a Belgian girl, who starts working in a Japanese enterprise. Although she speaks Japanese fluently and tries to do her best, she is bullied by her boss and colleagues. I advise you to watch the film and see with your own eyes how the girl manages to cope with the stress, pressure and culture shock. As the video is mostly in French (the Japanese sentences have fortunatelly been translated ;), the exercise will be easier for students who are also learning French. There are also English subtitles, which you should find helpful.
